Amee + Tae are a couple with amazing style! They wanted something a little modern, a little minimalist and a little funky for their wedding, and once they found The Ruby Street in the Highland Park area of Los Angeles, they knew it was a perfect fit. Stripping out most of the furniture and focusing on minimal details, florals + paper goods, they were able to make it fit their personal aesthetic perfectly. Proof positive that your wedding can be whatever you want, look however you want and be different even in a venue that is very popular in your area. This wedding is a great example of Harmony Creative Studio’s ‘Month-of Coordination’ package in action. Amee has a very strong personal design aesthetic and had the desire/ability to design + plan their wedding herself, but needed a little guidance and of course someone to pull everything together logistically in the month leading up to the event and on the day itself.

Can we talk about Amee’s sleek ponytail + picture perfect modern dress from Atelier by Dawn Kim? Her whole style is so swoon worthy and on point. And don’t even get me started on Tae’s suave white tux jacket. Throw in the beautiful understated flowers of 12 Olive Floral and chic bridesmaid dresses from Lulus and this has to be one of the most stylist bridal parties we’ve ever had!

 

They incorporated traditional elements into their emotional ceremony, set to a soundtrack by a friend’s band. During the party, we projected their minimal logo (designed by the bride, just like all the paper goods!) above their sweetheart table and then the dance floor really got moving thanks to the amazing DJ Alfex and MC Ryan Shin.
