Emily + Tony’s romantic + fun wedding was such a favorite! Bride Emily was looking to add a little of her boho aesthetic to amazing ballroom location The MacArthur in DTLA. We worked with florist Emblem flowers to bring her indoor garden to life with just the right details bringing out the vintage aspects of the venue along with the cheeky, playful nature of the couple themselves.

Wanting the wedding to feel both ‘grand’ and ‘intimate’ was definitely high on the couple’s list. By having the ceremony in the round in the amazing lobby, their guests were able to get both those feelings right away – being both closer to the couple physically and enjoying the grandest space at the venue for more than a pass-through.

A round dance floor and a mix of round and wood tables kept the party feeling intimate and surrounded the couple with their loved ones. If you look closely you might also recognize this ballroom from the Kendrick Lamar video ‘HUMBLE’, and the couple recreated part of the video with a group wedding photo of them and all their guests on the grand staircase. Such an amazing idea, and we loved helping them pull it off!
