This Santa Barbara wedding at Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm is such a fave! Bride Jordan knew this amazing location was for her – so she booked the only available date for their 2019 calendar, only three months away. Can you plan a wedding in three months, of course! But it helps to have a planner in your corner, actually listen to them when they say decisions need to be made now, and know what to prioritize and what to let go. This awesome couple did just that, and their wedding was a dream to plan as a result.

This gorgeous greenhouse location has so many beautiful locations to choose from – and the breathtaking ceremony site right on the bluff could not be beat. Guests were treated to a shuttle ride from the hotel right to the ceremony, and greeted by drinks and the most stunning view Santa Barbara has to offer. One of the things that was important to the couple was that their wedding be classic yet have modern touches. We commissioned the custom arch to mimic their sophisticated and minimalist invitations, and it added just the right touch of modern to the ceremony without blocking the view.

After a cocktail hour in the orchid showcase, complete with a live fine artist doing sketches of the guests and wood fired pizza, the party moved into the large main greenhouse for a spectacular family style rustic Italian dinner. The groomsmen managed to surprise everyone with a nicely coordinated T-rex appearance during toasts, and the evening was capped off with the couple’s favorite donuts and dancing the night away under the stars and sparkling lights. This Santa Barbara wedding was one for the books!
