Tamar + Dean’s Hudson Loft wedding was such a joy to plan, from start to finish! It’s a wedding planner’s dream to be hired by couples that love their style, appreciate their expertise and treat like a friend – and I couldn’t have asked for more from this amazing couple. College sweethearts who met at Indiana University, they wanted to showcase both their modern style and Jewish traditions – all while making a fun and inviting environment for their guests, who literally came from all over the world to celebrate with them. With a Kosher meal, rockin’ Hora and the sweetest vows ever, I think we really hit the mark with this one.

In the couples’ own words: “Hiring a planner transformed the wedding planning process from a stressful, unknown chore to a fun and enjoyable adventure!” Let me tell you that is music to this planner’s ears! We worked with them to add personal touches like a giant (over 6 feet tall!) custom vinyl timeline of their journey from friends to college sweethearts to husband + wife. Also….can we talk about their adorable puppy?!?!?!!! All decked out in an adorable floral collar, little ‘Totcho’ nearly stole the show. Colorful flowers from Shindig Chic really popped against the all white space and we always love a good hanging installation — and that one above their head table really takes the cake.
