Alyssa + Dave were one of our sweetest couples ever! Their use of color in their wedding party wardrobe, their tablescapes and overall wedding design were so much fun for us to bring to life for them! You can also see their wedding video HERE!

At the time of their wedding, Bride Alyssa worked for Disney animation – and she basically looks like a Disney princess come to life! This couple was all about fun – from Alyssa + her maids sparkly Kate Spade Keds to the floral pop of the guys ties! And let’s not forget groom Dave – that sage green suit from Indochino might be our favorite groom look ever!

Wanting to bring in their friends and family as much as possible – they made custom lapel pins for everyone – with different colors signifying family and bridal party – such a cute idea! They also added in plenty of fun with not one but three (!) food trucks at their DTLA warehouse location – HNYPT, which has a perfect set up for food trucks with the large roll up doors leading right out to the street. Guests got to feast on Vivace Pizza, Kogi BBQ and the CVT ice cream truck – basically an episode of the hit Netflix ‘Chef Show’ come to life! 

Here’s the reason hiring even a short-term coordinator can really pay off: you never know what will happen! We were notified by the venue three days before this wedding that the city of LA had approved a short term filming permit for all the streets surrounding this venue – basically meaning all the streets would be closed nearly all day for a car commercial. Luckily, since we are based in LA – this isn’t the first time Harmony Creative Studio has run into this, and we were able to work with the production company, police escorts and city officials to allow all vendors access to the building, and Alyssa + Dave’s out of town guests were treated to a real live LA experience – and everything went as smoothly as possible! Ditto when their original photo booth had to cancel at 9pm the night prior to ther wedding due to a family emergency – we were able to hit up our extensive vendor networks and find an amazing photo booth for them within an hour!  Even with any couple’s best laid plans, it helps to have a pro come in and help (in this case we were Month-of Coordination) to execute your vision so you can actually enjoy it – no matter what come up!
