One of the things we’re most proud here at HCS is that we attract some of the most genuinely nice couples. Lex + Adam are a shining example of that – just two of the most down-to-earth, nicest people out there. We were so excited to work with them and bring to life their wedding vision — a traditional Catholic ceremony followed by a modern fun-filled party at one of our fave DTLA venues, HNYPT.

More often than not, church ceremonies happen earlier in the day than if it takes place in the same venue as your reception. This leaves a large gap of time for your guests between the end of your ceremony until the beginning of your reception. While some might see this as a problem, here at HCS we actually love it because it gives us a chance to get creative and find some fun ways to entertain your guests. While the bridal party was busy taking tons of gorge photos, the guests were treated to custom portraits from Miles Lewis as well as fun cocktails and live jazz from LA Diamond Trio.

The festive atmosphere continued with custom escort cards which were fun candid photos of all their guests made to look like Polaroids. We loved putting this together, as when wedding day came – we already knew who was who! Interactive food from Epic Tacos and a late night treat from the Cool Haus truck capped off a great night filled with laughter and love for this sweet couple.
